Buy the S9536 1950's Sundress and Bolero sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for an intermediate beginner dressmaker. Back-zip sundress has boned fitted bodice trimmed with bias folded trim, four gored mid-calf length skirt and large flap pockets trimmed with bias trim cut of dress fabric. Sundress has matching belt and can be made with or without shoulder straps. Short bolero with single button closure at neck has short kimono sleeves with bias-cut cuffs.

Suggested fabrics: Chambray, Pique, Linen Types, Gingham, Seersucker, Lightweight Denim, Shantung, Faille, Taffeta, Crepe. Interfacing: Lightweight fusible or Muslin.

Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way design fabrics or shrinkage.
